07-03-18 [Zonoke: Amorphous Geltch]
Hey noodle what did you do today?
Well I woke up at 6:30 and went to the living room, where I found grandpa was already awake. We got him ready around 7ish and he was finished by 7:45. At around 8:30 I took a nodl nap, and had a dream I was trying to take a photo of a land-octopus. I managed to corner one in a giant jar, but then it stood up to full height (Like an amorphous Gletch) and then waddled off. There was another sea creature that resembled a skeletal angler fish, and it would latch onto people and succ their blood. Also there were dogs somewhere, and the dream took place in the creek behind my parents' house.
I woke up at 11:30 and headed off at around 12ish. I called mum and dad and they said the AC people were arriving that night. Also they were gonna take the seadoo to Fat Daddy's (A restaurant in Tennessee). I was still a bit groggy and sleepy and the conversation wasn't that great, but it was good chatting with them again!
I went to Pubix and bought a bunch of BOGO napkins for grandma and also I got some sushi. After eating, I headed back home and grandma said the napkins would work, but she was hoping for the ones that were folded (They weren't BOGO). I went to my room and did a bit of typing, made a necklace, got a shower, and all the while heard thunder in the distance. I also watched an old episode of Alvin and the Chipmunks called “Elementary My Dear Simon”, because I remember over 15 years ago, my BFF and another really close frand (Who later went to prison for dealing heroine) were talking about the song in the episode...Not at any great length, just a simple mention. I didn't see it that morning, and thought that it sounded good. All in all, not that bad, and glad to satisfy this 15+ year itch. :b
At 5:15 I went back to the living room and we got grandpa ready around 5:30 and...Oh man, that was an ordeal. We had to change him three times, because every time we finished, he'd mess himself again...It was insanity and took close to an hour.
However after finished (3 walmart bags full), I washed my hands, gave him meds, then it started raining! Yey! While it did, I headed to Michelbob's for BBQ. They were super busy, but I was able to grab some candies. When I brought the goods back, we ate, I cleaned up, and then nebulized grandpa around 7:38. I headed back to my room and did some progress because I am a noodle and get a buff from storms! I made a worldbuild and did a line art for a commish and did some types!
During the day, and the past couple days, I had been thinking a lot about animals that I see in life, and then animals that grandpa saw in his life. He was born in 1926 and has seen a lifetime of birds and squirrels and butterflies...I wonder what happened to each of the animals he's seen. All will be dead by now. I remember when I was much smaller, we took a vacation to St. Louis and stayed with my neighbors, and we visited a butterfly house. While there, I saw a blue and orange butterfly that looked pretty weak and ragged. I was able to scoop it up a little, though it did fly away. That butterfly will be long-dead by now, but I wonder if it had a good life, or if it even has the concept of such. Are its descendants still populating that house right now? I'm unsure, but it's interesting to imagine.
Either way, I ramble. I wound up laying down with my copy of One Punch mange #14 (It had arrived earlier that day) at around midnightish, read it, and went to bed around 12:45.
I hope everyone has a butterfly contemplation day! <333
