talk about costing an arm and a leg for a commission from you

Well, anywhere from 20%-40% of a freelance artist’s income has to be put towards taxes, PayPal charges fees for use additionally, and I get none of the benefits that come with a job that isn’t self-employment. So overall I’m making minimum wage at the most, and sometimes less, even with these prices! I charge about 1/3rd if the industry standard for the art that I do.

Hey dude! Super interested, but just wanted to let ya know it'd be cool to have examples of what each kind of commission looks like! For instance, I'm not really too sure what a "Chat pose" is. I can guess it's probably like, a bust or something, but I'm not certain.
