Not according to silly people who believe D&D dictates what a fantasy creature should or should not look like. :P

And Chinese dragons have no wings, the Russian dragon has three heads and Greek dragons vary wildly. I know. They're all dragons and dragons are different in different cultures. That's why I think people who try to dictate what a fantastic creature should look like are silly. And there's always someone who's like that in my submissions.
Though I know no one in this comment thread is slighting my work. Osamljen-wuk and I were joking about the kind of people who I mentioned above!

Oh I see, that's the problem with the Internet you can't hear tones xD I thought you were getting mad about it, I can imagine it gets tiring people misidentifying them as wyverns but it's an easy mistake to make.
I've been following your work for years and I'm looking forward to seeing more of these guys and Blade Under The Mask. Do you do a lot of animal anatomy research because your insect art is spot on!

Ahh, more of the dragon siblings in their dragon forms. As somebody who is only just getting to know them like this, seeing that they are 'wyvern-bodied' and getting to see them in such an awesome pose is really quite a great first impression! Love their full-bodied designs!
Those pose and the composition are really quite something. Maybe it's because of their wingspan and body-type but it looks as complex as it looks awesome! And, jeez! Vygo' wingspan! The way it wraps around the two and even fades slightly into the background is awesomely imposing!
And finally, those lovely fluffy clouds below...! I wanted to give them at least a quick mention, for how well painted they are. Reminds me of looking out of aeroplane windows at 35,000 feet. Well, the clouds anyway. I haven't seen a couple of dragons in an altitude competition, haha!

I personally like dragons better like this, I think they look more aggressive and feral (which is a nice contrast to their humanoid forms), and I like the 'roosted bird' posture they get better than 'quadruped with wings'. Speakin of wings: big wingspans is where it's at! Wandering albatross proportions!

And hey, it's cool to know and to see! I can surely agree with you on every point you raised here, about their feral look, their awesome wingspan, and their 'roosting' posture they get!
It's also just a cool, 'irregular' body format to have! I get the feeling that working out how to position them in any given picture is part of the fun, right?!

I adore the subtle marking differences between the two. Indrys has a 'cleaner' belly and the stripes on her neck look a little more like spots whereas Vygo has stripes that bleed onto his white underside in more places. Also looks like his white goes a little further down his tail than his sister's though that may be the positioning! Anyway this is absolutely gorgeous and I love seeing these two whenever they appear in my submissions. Thank you for creating these two beautiful babes. <3
Gosh, these dragon twins have come such a long way! I remember when you first introduced them, and seeing how their designs have evolved over time is so awesome. I always love that with characters, they grow along with us as we improve and expand our stories~ ;v;
