So this was not meant to be a romantic scene. The relationship with Karu and Einji is far more complex than that. They are like best buds with that awkward undertone that no one is quite sure about. On this particular night Einji merely wanted a quiet night to himself on the roof of the mansion to drink some whiskey and gaze at the stars. Obviously that didn't happen, Karu felt obliged to crash his serenity and get drunk next to him only to pass out on his arm.

Now this is honestly my first attempt at a night time scene, I'm not too sure how I did. I was also too lazy to put labels on her beer cans, but the bottles never had labels they had home made whiskey in them.
