This pic wasn't supposed to be done today, which is why there isn't much of a background. It kept me up until 6 AM, too.

The reason I sorta blitzed through it was that I wanted the timing to be good. I was planning on drawing Kumatora anyway, but it turns out that today, April 20th, is Mother 3's birthday. Or maybe it was yesterday, since it was released in Japan only and my area is quite a few hours behind Japan.

I honestly don't know much about Mother 3's gameplay. I sat through a silent playthrough of it, which meant no man child saying stupid stuff when the game had serious moments and whatnot. I really admire Mother 3 just from watching it. Kumatora really grew on me, so I knew I would be drawing her down the line.

It's pretty simple, and my colored pencils weren't able to capture the flaming hot pink hair, but I like it overall. It's... cute.
