Ahh thank you!! I really like to implement those sort of silhouette on drawings rather than being just a flat colored background.
While drawing him I noticed that on the second arc of the movie, the animators changed his dark colored nose blur to a white one and made his muzzle mark brighter, perhaps to reference that time has passed? I like to think by that time Scar had a lot of second thoughts on his decided paths but that he had to keep playing along. Like some animal that had climb tall and it cant go back, nobody is waiting for him at the bottom and all he can do is try to find whats on top.
