Ifra just wanted to draw, but seems his tablet has other plans! And unfortunately for Ifra, that laptop knows too much, so it must be silenced!!
So, for the past year or so, my laptop's been afflicted with crashes. Sometimes I'd get them spaced out over the course of two months. Sometimes I'd get 3 in one day. But it was always the same error. PFN LIST CORRUPT. A memory related issue. The first instance of it was the product of my Hard Drive and RAM dying. However, after I got those replaced, it persisted. I felt like I was going to go crazy trying to figure out what it was. That was, until it hit me; the tablet I had upgraded to was always plugged in when it crashed. A Ugee m708. After some testing I came to the realization that my tablet had a really bad memory leak, and the drivers hadn't been updated since 2017 because they had a new model of it out. So, I've shelved my Ugee and swapped back to my old faithful Bamboo CTH-470. The drawing area's small, but it's better than constant crashes that interrupt the work flow so much you can't get anything done.
