Yeah, some people don't like laptop keyboards so they still use a normal desktop keyboard instead.

Even with a laptop that has a "full" keyboard, it don't sit right on the desk for me to be comfortable using it on a productive basis.

Personally I much prefer a separate keyboard and mouse. I hate touchpad and how laptop keyboards feel. Yeah its more expensive but hey. At least its more comfortable for my hands.
