"Who's Pascal, and why does everyone keep asking if I know him?"

A bit of programming humor from those of us who seem to acquire more skills in dead languages in our careers than most archaeologists. :3

Retirement gift for a coworker who's leaving at the end of the month. His wife, who is also in our department and is into scrap-booking, passed out a variety of index-card-sized scraps of paper to all of us. The idea was that we'd write down a fond recollection or amusing anecdote of his time at the Academy, to make a memory book from all of us; since I'm a rather visual person (and also haven't been here more than a few years and thus haven't had a chance to really get to know him outside of idle chitchat), I opted for what I hope is a humorous comic. (My only other option would've been to blather on about Macs and Honda's del Sol, since we're at least that much in common...)

The Naval Academy's mascot ("Bill") is a goat; their school colors are blue & gold; paraphernalia with their mascot on it features gold accents and the "N*" blanket. So at least the old goat (and the young one's blanket) are somewhat stylistically accurate. ^_^;

Micron inks and Prismacolor markers/pencils on green-tea-colored scrapbook paper. My scanner, PhotoShop, and JPEG compression have united in their attempts at washing out the green, and for once, I'm not sure I mind. Though I do apologize for my lack of handwriting skills.
