I am going to color this by hand when I have more time. It screams for more than just a simple flat color.
This is for the Horse Art RPG that is taking over parts of DeviantArt. Essentially you have horses, and play the game through pictures, this happens to be an entry for a halter class of my Jutland Stallion Wald (alas, he is fictional). I'm starting to get the hang of this draft anatomy. And yes, Jutlands do have cannon bones that short.
Much love for the drafts, and much love for the Jutland in particular. It's unfortunate they don't really exist outside of Denmark.

If I ever manage to get Jutland breeding program going (unlikely at this point, but I dream big!) you have a standing invitation to the farm and a good deal if you wanted one. I don't know if it'll ever happen, but it would be awesome if it did! I have giddy visions of stocky Jutland babies running around in large fields with good, stout mares and a couple of handsome stallions.
