It is weird I use a knife in my off hand and a fork in my main hand and people think I am European as I can cut then eat my food, I do not understand this so I what you mean... none the less this is akin to blasphemy. The food gods find you unworthy of Ramen.

Yeah. It's already obligatory to eat only with chopsticks at some Ramen Shops in Japan. Though I too follow these standards as a cultural custom with other Japanese meals.

I went to this Japanese and Korean restaurant, owner is Korean and the manager is Japanese and a friend of mine. After struggling with chopsticks for 5 minutes or so, I remembered a friend of mine was working in the kitchen washing dishes, so I sent him a text message with my table number.
