I loved Darling in the FranXX and especially the design of Strelizia in its stampede mode, which sadly very few people seem to have made fanart of. I rarely draw characters that aren't my own, and what struck me was how tough it was to accurately represent the design. I spent a load of time staring at stills from the anime just to learn the form. How the animators were are able to pose and warp it while still staying true to the design just blows my mind.
