So I finally made a sonic universe fan character. I don't know why it took me this long.

This is Proxy, and she's basically the result of me asking "What if I translated Blanque into the sonic satam universe?" In the end I created a character and gave her a back story with a little inspiration from Terminator and Voyager!

Proxy was a lone Mobian who survived Robotnik's initial invasion but was caught at a later point in time. Robotnik, Robotnik, seeking a way to crush the Freedom Fighters in a more subtle way. To this end, he experimented with a new form of roboticizer designed to create a kind of smart soldier. One with no memory, and brainwashed to serve, but with still enough free will to act creatively. Using the captured Mobian, he created the prototype Proxy, a lightweight robot assassin equipped with holographic projectors and voice modulation to superficially mimic flesh and blood mobians. Although not bearing the usual superhuman strength of robians, her lightweight and flexible construction assists in her disguise abilities.

Left as bait for Sonic and the freedom fighters to "rescue", Proxy infiltrates the rebel ranks posing as an unassuming new recruit and begins her efforts to sew distrust and confusion by briefly posing as other fighters and sabotaging their efforts, with the ultimate goal of getting an opportunity to assassinate Sonic or Sally and have one of the other fighters take the blame.

However, the more the mobians treat her recruit persona as a friend, the more Proxy questions her mission. Spending time with the freedom fighter exposes her to the forgotten concepts of love, friendship, freedom, right, wrong and purpose. Until at last she comes to realise what horror has truly become her.

Choosing to reveal herself, she begins to act as a double agent for the freedom fighters, giving robotnik a false report and enabling them to strike on Robotnik's new roboticizing tech, destroying it and preventing further assassins like Proxy from being built. And robotnik, realising his new protoype has turned coat, abandons his work on semi-sentient robots to prevent such a humiliation from happening again.

Proxy joins the ranks of the freedom fighters as a deception expert, and over time, learns more about who she used to be.
