Pantherans in the TGE (Rifts RPG)
So, I happen to play on Explorers Unlimited. There they have gone with the optional rule for Phase World of 'Atorians as Vassals of the TGE'. The Pantheran character I play however is from before this intergration as I was unaware at the time of making it two years ago that they had gone this route.
And so after talking to the GM in charge of the Phase World setting on EU, I was given the go ahead to write up a bit of a backstory to explain what happend to the Pantherans and the like so that the GM of the group I play in could use things for plot hooks etc.
It's short, but I hope it fits and I've based this on the scant bits of data presented in Phase World, Phase World Source Book and Aliens Unlimited all published by Palladium Books.
As such I can not lay claim to the TGE, Atorian Empire, Pantherans or any other races mentioned in this text, but the rest is all my own creation and writing as inspired by Palladium Books own works.
Love your fluff guys, but I seriously wish you'd upgrade to to a better system especialy where skills are concerned.

I'd definitely agree with you there as that's really what I consider it to be myself. Especially the whole skill system. I'm not a huge fan of the class system either as well.. there's no balance really and a lot of classes seem to miss certain skill sets or abilities that they should have (Such as how the SAMAS pilot was missing several necessary skills for years that were in the main book itself).
My own favoured systems are ones like Silouette used in Heavy Gear, SR4's system and so on. They have a certain degree of complexity while remaining rather simplistic and can account for quite a few combat (and non combat) variables.
