pixel scene complex aimation commission
This order was made for the user "Vilefox" of Furry Amino.
He asked me to make his character drinking potions, above a ruined tower of an abandoned castle.
I had some design problems with this character that left me behind at work.
Changes requested due to lack of information in the references.
I was given like 4 references that they had some things that others did not. :s
But I feel happy with the result of the work.
I hope you like it ^^

Looks incredible, love how the texture on the fur shifts in the wind so consistently. I have no idea how that's done. All the little bits of movement really tie in with the image.
Also poor references and descriptions... yeah tell me about it. That sucks, I'm sorry and have totes been there. I cant imagine how people on furry amino are about that. Heard not so good things.

Thank you so much FatalSyndrome <3
I really wanted to give that feeling of wind in the character, I thought that in addition to his coat could add some more movement to the fur (I like to add that kind of detail)
The technique to make those little movements, was basically to make 3 frames of animation to be repeated ... and accommodate them well in the timeline.
most of the orders I have are from the furry amino, I usually don´t have so much trouble with it, this was a particular case.
I told the owner of the character, several times, to get a good reference of his character in the future XD

absolutely amazing. just, wow. the amount of details you crammed intosuch a small image... i love the bounce of the tail, the fluttering of the fur [ive never seen someone animate it like that before], the gentle animation of the cape, and the overall detail and effort that went into the background... those clouds floating by <3 I can imagine this being in a game
you make fantastic work. i hope you never stop, because it is incredible. too few people do true pixel art anymore and you're one of the greats :)

Ohhhhh, I really appreciate it. <3
Thank you so much Trunchbull :D
I've been doing pixel art animations for 3 years.
B I only worked with small 50x50 icons before and then I started experimenting with larger sizes. ^^
and well, since it was supposed that he was on top of a tower, I thought that there should be a wind in the fur, that I worked it with 3 frames ... as I remember. Although the hardest thing was to make the head rise to drink. ;_;
Ohhh, I would really love to be able to work for some game that has anthropomorphic animals as the character. If it's a beat em up, it would be great. o:
