Another playable race for Wild Blue Yonder, the draconic ghido.

Ghido are recent interlopers from Beyond, who arrived with their tetran slaves and embarked on a brief, unsuccessful invasion of Ardea before being driven back to the Barrier only fifty years ago. They are a hard, grim race who have little use for weakness and frivolity. Though winged and capable of sustained flight, they are loathe to stray far from solid footing and most ghido are encountered aboard airships or over small islets when found in the Open. They are treated with hostility in the Baronies and Ardea proper, and even a goodly ghido is subject to open scrutiny. Most ghido are brutish and warlike, so those who fall outside of this mindset are almost always adventurers.

For clarification's sake, they don't have a cloaca but their penis is retracted into a sheathe when not in use. They lay leathery eggs, but females have mammary glands and nurse their young after a brief incubation.
