How in the world do you ink those lines?

just wondering, because its kool. =3

I use a standard 08 Micron (the thickest kind) and work line-by-line. So for an arm, say, I'd draw the entire line defining the lowest part of a forearm. Then I draw a second line next to the first, and let it kind of 'flow' inconsitently along the contour of the previous line, so that spacing between the two lines varies. I then fill in the space between the lines to achieve the blocky line effect. Generally, the spacing/flow of the lines is not purely random, as I consider the depth I want to convey, gravity, and lighting. Hope that helps!
