I've been so busy with comms I forgot I had finished this! XD
*Sort of a copy/paste from the WIP but I changed a few things*
Lately I've been getting more serious for this old story I've been chipping away at called Monster Pop. I have... A LOT of arcs planned out but contemplating in the order for the first two. idk how long a prologue should be hence why I've been contemplating it.
ANYWAYS, look guys, it's Monster Pop. What's Monster Pop you say? It's a post-apocalyptic sci-fi/fantasy sparkle gore story that revolves around monster able to transform into humans. A selected group of species decided to repopulate Deadworld(aka Earth, monsters renamed it to this to represent life after death... or something gay like that lol ;D) after humans wiped themselves out and following the wisdom of their gods before them they began to walk, talk, and live like humans... or try to. Monsters are very in tune with their monster side so it's hard for some of them to be human or even understand what that is exactly. But life goes on and they strive. But things change when a vicious gang decides they want the largest city in the Deadworld, Pop City. Lead by a weirdo with a koala mask and strange electrical powers, he begins to take over territories from the four mob bosses in order to surround the center of the city(Pop City is split into five sectors, north, south, east, and west, duh ;D, and the center is the neutral zone). But unbeknownst to them the center of the city holds some of the most powerful and influential fighters this side of the Deadlands. And that's when these four step up to the plate and take the gang and it's koala headed leader on!
They're all searching for someone, except for Agnes she just wants a good fight. Natasha is searching for her son and husband and wants to take her anger out on these assholes for trashing her house. Kai's looking for his husband after he realizes something really isn't right about this situation. Kyung is looking for his kidnapped twin brother. And Agnes is just looking for a fight. So there ya go, a bit of a reason as to why each person is running through the city(funfact, this was originally inspired by sidescroller beat 'em ups). I'm gonna leave more of their lives a bit of a secret for now. But there's more characters to come too. So look forward to that~ ;3

Neat! You clearly gave some thought to this world! But now I'm curious; I know in the linked pic you said you also wanted to do areal and aquatic monsters as well in a similar aesthetic to the land based "brutes", but I'm kind of wondering if there are more "traditional" monsters in this post-apocalyptic world of yours (like werewolves, vampires, zombies, ghosts, etc.)?
