It's tough being Janet now, things were probably simpler when she was just a ordinary girl, who died. Dying is simple, it's when you have to survive that stuff get's complicated.

Zune's outfit is wonderful! There's never enough tails-concealed-for-modesty in furry art. On the rare occasions people do draw furries in hijab, they always leave the ears hanging out and that just doesn't seem logical to me.

i'm not an expert on Islam that i want to make statements about what reactions might have been with everyone turning into animals in the 1970s, but i think you'd want to cover up your tail as much as you would any other limb, ignoring the question of if it'd be even more in need of covering since it's an animal part or not idk. i'm not really decided on what the entire socio-political climate is of puzzlevision what with magic and fairies and ghosts all being scientifically proven back in the 1800s. i have a good solid idea how catholicism reacted in puzzlevision and some protestant branches in my head and plans, but like, eastern orthodox and islam i do not know enough about how those religions are lived to really say what happened esp. with stuff from back in the 1800s so like. i dunno.

I'm no expert either. There are horse ear bonnets that protect equine ears against sun and insects while still allowing freedom of movement and, I assume, not significantly impacting hearing. I'm a big proponent of the theory that something like that would be prevalent in a furry world, tailored for different species. If you have big ears that are going to stick out, put on your ear bonnets and wrap the hijab around that.
