Why do trades make you nervous?

Because with requests, it's not like I have to come up to any standard other than my own. It's a gift and if the recipient doesn't like it, they can bite me With trades, a whole other person is putting effort into drawing something for me, so I feel like I have to at least come up to their standard, you know?

I do love trades though, since it's always good to get someone else's perspective on my character.

Oh, yes that makes sense. I tend to get anxious with trades because I'm worried I don't do well enough quite often.
