I would buy this potholder at the pokemart; it is so wholesome! I love that speckled texture you created and how the rim of some of the shadows get faintly darker, like watercolors. Were you using a certain brush to achieve the speckled look or was it a filter applied afterwards? I would love to know more about your process on this piece!

TY Mo! they're all things I found through fussing around with Paint Tool Sai. The watercolor effects are from a layer effect called "Wet Edge -> Fringe" that I apply my shading on. It'll automatically add a little border to colors applied on that layer and it's nice for mimicking that effect. the speckled texture comes from me using a really grungy airbrush to erase or add on that same shading layer. I'm not sure if i explained that well or if im just shouting gibberish at you. ;;

You made sense and I was able to find the fringe effect, thanks! Sai is one of my favorite programs so if you are open to sharing any textures or brushes I would LOVE that!
