A simple drawing of Perellis to start me off. He's just arriving .. someplace fun, no doubt.

"Most everyone around had heard Perellis blow his sax, whether they liked it or not. He was the maverick of subversive music, giving all varieties of concerts with a cadre of musical innovators.
The red fox stands at a medium-short height. A shaggy mane of short hair, a shade darker than his fur, rests atop his head. Thick black frames surround the thick lenses before his eyes. He hauls his alto sax in a suede bag slung over his shoulder to match his long jacket. The jacket is open, exposing the creamy white fur that spills over his pecs and skinny torso. On his hips rest a pair of long cargo shorts in a similar earth tone, that come to a frayed end inches above his bare, black footpaws.
Overall, the fox is skinny and lithe, often contorting his long limbs to play from a cramped perch. If you see him sitting, it would likely be cross-legged on the ground, perhaps poring over the charts of notes he keeps on small papers in the bag with his sax."
