why ?

When I was born a great crevice was tore into the earth, from the crevice flames burned bright as day and hot as the sun. The flames began to spread and started consuming everything in its path. For days the fire tore across vast stretches of earth searing and burning everything. On the thirteenth day another was born and with him a pouring rain came from the north. The fires lasted only three days after the rain began and when it disapated the crevice was gone and all that remained was the child. Where the child lay was the only reminder the fires had ever existed, in a 3foot circle around the child the ground was burnt black....

I'm actually fairly suprised. its not from anything suprisingly. It all occured to me as I typed. Strange things. Its kinda bizarre...
