Nangagi is a Ta'ruui spirit representing Past and History and is worshiped by a certain colony of Ta'ruui as well as colonies where their descendants have spread, Her body stays in a statue like state and is kept in a special temple in the colony. The flames emitting from her body require no fuel and pulse in brightness whenever a new Ta'ruui life comes into the world. While in her statue form her spirit is free to travel and watches over the lives of each generation recording their deeds, however around the time of the colony's winter holiday her body is able to reanimate and able to commune with the people, often helping individuals in need of guidance
Before Nangagi was a spirit she was the head of the colony's temple and their most devout follower of Secha'ruui, The Serpent Mother and as reward for her worship Secha came to her before she passed and offered her the opportunity to become one of her three spirits of past, present, and future. After accepting Nangagi's body rose up and changed thanks to the divine blessing becoming this statue while her spirit left with The Serpent Mother to learn about her title, while the other members of the temple rushed to her chambers having felt the strong magic coming from her room and upon examination they discovered the divine marking of their Goddess on the back of Nangagi's hood. Seeing as their leader has been blessed by their goddess they transformed her room into a shrine at least until the first time she returned to her people.
Wooo that took a while to think of, but either way this lovely ta'ruui was made by
