With orange, manic hair that mimics the bright, shining sun, Sunny is a girl prone to having some attitude who was born in Tallahassee. At an early point in childhood, she moved to the town of Blossom Park, where she grew up for the majority of her life.
There's nothing Sunny enjoys more than bright, sunshiny weather, most likely due to that being the climate she was born into. Years of enjoying time under the sunlight makes Sunny tolerant to warmer climates, but more sensitive to other forms of weather. She doesn't take too kindly to the cold at all being as used to the heat as she is, and she doesn't appreciate the cold rain falling on a day that could have been nice and warm out. Still, when the weather is right, she will always be taking advantage of the warmth and enjoying the outdoors. Thus, she is always dressed light, with a standard outfit consisting of a warm-colored shirt with a sunset design on it, red flip-flops, short-shorts, and a sun-shaped charm in her hair.
Sunny learned at one point in life that she was somehow able to make the sun come out with her dances. She cannot control the sun itself with her dances, but she can create conditions where the sun is able to shine more brightly. The more she dances, the hotter it can get, and she can get reckless with her "sun dancing" if she really wants that warm day outside.
Her personality, though much more mellow at the core, tries to come off as spunky and full of attitude. Sunny doesn't like broadcasting anything besides a laid-back, in-control vibe. Though it's the way Sunny rolls, it tends to leave her without any friends, but she made one in the form of Rain at an early point in life. She finds that Rain can handle her personality pretty well with her carefree spirit, which is likely the reason the two are able to stay friends. Finally, personalitywise, Sunny is prone to being a hothead at times, quick to anger and never being able to understand anything but her way when she is angry. This take on life leaves her struggling in more behaved environments, such as school.
Trivial facts about Sunny include her unique accent consisting of an urban tone of voice and a light Floridan accent all in one. It isn't too heavy, but it most notably makes Sunny's speech pattern consist of replacing "you" with "ya." The pin in her hair is a gift from her grandmother. Lastly, she discovered with Rain that she has a naughty affinity for tickling, which leaves her friend at the receiving end of some dastardly torment whenever she's foolish enough to be nice and volunteer. Of course, Sunny should watch out, because she's definitely not capable of swallowing a taste of her own medicine.
