Furry Weekend Atlanta's theme this year was "Galactic Gunslingers," which I absolutely loved. Immediately after learning about it I was inspired to do something directly related to it, and this was one of the characters that came from that brand new story setting I came up with based on the con's theme. This is Thistle Avery, a cyborg fennec fox and bounty hunter sporting advanced weaponry and plenty of sass to back it up.
These are the inks for what will later be a full-color piece, courtesy of the awesome gNAW. I loved how the inks themselves came out so I decided to post the work so far. Here, we can see that Thistle is a lot bolder than her stoic rabbit counterpart, enjoying the thrill of letting loose her power as an advanced Epsilon cyborg.
