So a long long long long maddafackin' time ago, back in highschool, I had this fanfiction I was working on that was an ALIENS/Thundercats crossover. And it took place long before the events of the actual show, and the idea was there was a Thunderan prison camp out in the wasteland. The prisoners are basically used for manual labor, mostly mining.
At one point, the prisoners come across an old crashed ship, that must have been there for who-knows-how-many years.

of course, a group is sent inside to investigate, and shocker, somebody gets facehugg'd and the expected chaos ensues. I had a design for a xenomorph birthed from a Thundercat, that would have small tufts of fur on their body, but not quite covering the whole creature.
and then the translucent headpiece would have a ALIEN-ised version of the thundercat's symbol.

well that never went anywhere, I never finished writing it, I have no idea where it went, and I was going through puberty so girls were more interesting to me, but that design always kinda stuck with me. And I just nicknamed him "Tuft" since I just really associated that word with them. I doodled them now and then, but this is probably the first time I've drawn them the way I pictured them back then.
