The picture here is pretty self-explanatory. My rat Rodent is having some difficulty trying to light up a cigarette, when a 'friendly' dragon comes by and offers to help. Of course, knowing the way such encounters usually go for the rat, you can be sure that more than just the cigarette will be lit up a few moments later. :)
I love the expressions on the characters, as well as the colors and details that BulletGutz had put into this. It really has a wonderful charm to it. My thanks to her for taking this commission and doing such a fantastic job with it. :D

NOTE:
For anyone wondering why Rodent is white and dressed as he is, that was a blunder on my part that after realizing what had happened, I decided to keep because it also works so well.
When I linked BulletGutz to Rodent's reference page, the link that was in the Window's copy/paste cache was not for the reference page, but instead a link to a delightful picture of
Kyteriah's mouse, Slade. I failed to double-check the link after posting it and so, BulletGutz made Rodent white and wearing these clothes. :)
So, the story I'm sticking with is that because Rodent idolizes that adorable mouse so much (which he actually does ;) ), he bleached his fur white, got red contacts and swiped a set of Slade's clothes, hoping he could be just as cool as the mouse. Of course to the rat, being cool also entails smoking, and unlike the mouse, this would be the rat's undoing. So hopefully you can all now see why I wouldn't want it changed. :)
Or, you can imagine this as what Slade might have looked like if he were a rat, instead of a mouse. *laughs and hugs the awesome mousey*

*giggles!* I do have some artwork which features Swiftwind interacting with a dragon. Heheh! This particular dragon has a cold and sneezes a breath of fire onto the poor bald eagle. Squaaaaaaaawk!

The other scenario I always adored is a proud Swiftwind ruffling up his feathers and looking regal in front of a dragon. A stray feather floats away from the eagle and gets accidentally sucked into the nostrils of the dragon. The dragon has a sudden itchy snout, with the feather causing the dragon to sneeze a ball of flame down on top of Swiftwind! (Squawk!) The end result: Kentucky Fried Eagle. :D
*nuzzles the poor Rodent* Awwww. I love the thought of the dragon being entertained by you! *giggles and winks*

Hehe. I've always loved the few pictures I've seen out there of dragons sneezing a blast of fire at someone. Thanks for giving me one more for the collection. :D
It just always amazes me how there are so many fire-breathing dragons around, yet they're never shown actually using that fire in some manner, either on purpose or accidentally. Like explosives, fire is a wonderful tool for use in various comic situations, and these dragons need to learn that some of us don't mind getting roasted alive, all in the name of fun and entertainment. ;)

Of course, after having their feathers and fur roasted off, I can imagine Swiftwind thinking the rat looks even tastier now, and them starting up the whole chase again, despite their nakedness. :D

Ooooooh! Yes! I could easily see a featherless Swiftwind still lusting over a roasted tasty rat! ;) *giggles* Swiftwind would definitely be in "hot pursuit" in chasing after Rodent! Heehee! Two naked characters carrying on the chase! ;)
Awwww. I love seeing Rodent take so much punishment and abuse! I may stop shy of a "rip & tear" vore scene, but I do enjoy the thrill of the chase!
