Funny thing is that this is probably possible. I mean they did come from Silver, logic would think they may have some nanites as well. That or legendaries have the ability to take human forms. Thats what I did in my story anyway. Makes it a lot easier to hide from groups looking for you.

Live birth and eggs has one of those as a main difference. Though birth does let some blood flow through the mother and baby, eggs in most cases don't they just leave DNA in the soft eggs until they expand with food and protection until they are ready to leave.

Fair point. At the same time we don't completely know how the nanites work so anything is possible either way.

If nanites could get through to the egg simply because its in the blood stream the eggshell isn't doing its job.
Or the nanites are doing more damage then just allowing legendary assimilation.

The nanites have to be doing something to the eggs otherwise the genetics wouldn't mesh and create the kids. It honestly wouldn't shock me if the nanites were causing some form of genetic damage.

I wouldn't be surprised if the nanites mainly affect the eggs to take the genetic structure in the first place... Like taking the factory not the product. Force it to corporate DNA to form a leagonday splice instead of normal pokemon. It would explain why nothing else could impregnate her but so far every legendary got an egg.

To be fair other then her origin form she has no forms other then legendary, Lugia and Yveltal. As both of them are legendaries normal egg groups won't work. Other then her team she hasn't had other non-legendaries that we know about. She did get kissed the Flygon in the beginning but at that time here nanites weren't charged, hence not able to infuse that dna.

Sadly there just isn't enough known about these nanites yet to make any solid conclusions. It's equal parts frustrating and curious when trying to figure out how they work. Quite fun really.

Oh yea? I was thinking way up at the first part of the comic, before even Lugia was introduced. Luxray. He managed to get to that part of her and even went all out. And it was because Luxray was introduced that those Nanites got charged, but she was not impregnated during any of these. You may call it luck but... I doubt there is a reason as simple as that. Sure you can argue that they where not in the same breading category, and even point out that she is human-like (and because of the nanites) as well as legendary. Though we have yet to see any to bring results to prove or disprove.

I disagree that its the nanites that we don't know all that much about, but that we don't know about the tests in general and what was the result. Whatever team plazma did to her, it was bearing fruit. Whether or not it was what they where looking for is still in the mist...

From looking back the Luxray never actually kissed her so the nanites wouldn't have picked up it's DNA if thats how it happens. Her picking up both Lugia and Yveltal's DNA only seemed to happen when they kissed her. She did get nailed by that Kommo-o but again, it didn't kiss her and there was no change or eggs. We won't know anything until she ends up with a Human-like group to be sure. Then again she did get nailed by Finn and nothing came of it. However hes also pure human. So many variables to consider.

I am not sure if that was Team Plazma in the beginning. I never saw any of their symbols and genetic modification was never their thing. Messing around with genetic was always something I attributed to team Rocket. They did make Mewtwo after all. To be fair I might have missed something, if so please let me know. I honestly think Hoopa just pulled her in from another world. Since it can warp space it's not that hard to imagine.

I will give you that. We don't really know what their full plans were with the nanites. Silver getting them was a complete accident. She slammed into two lab workers carrying them. The fact Silver still existed means they never got what they were after. Thats evident by all the tubes empty except for her's. They would have disposed of her once they had what they wanted rather then waste resources keeping her alive.

I never thought that the Nanites would be in relation with kissing as that could be confused with other kinds of... orgains... Not to mention that it is depicted that they are in the blood stream somewhere. So most openings are available to transform. We just haven't seen a new form gained though anything other then vanilla sex.

The reason why I though Team Plazma is because of the simple fact they where also involved with genetics. But mainly for the legendaries for BW. In BW2 they even tried fuesing legendarys togeather using a migoffen. Not to mention the Movie they had for Black and White where they included Genesect and Mewtwo. Even trying to imply that there was a new Mewtwo flying around because of Plazma. It wouldn't surprise me if Plazma got into breading legendaries, especially since after beating BW the group splits up and several new heads of development went into different fields. In fact you get a Genesect from encountering of those guys.

The issue is that shes been nailed by Azula, Shamrock and Azzilan all at the same time, in every hole. Now it can be said that either the DNA was non-compatible or too many types blocked out the genetic nanites ability to ready the dna. Then again, going back to the Kommo-o. He mated her and there was no changes so we really don't know all of the rules to these nanites. Until we do pretty much anything is up for debate. Something else to keep in mind is cheek cells are packed with dna. Thats why they're often used in testing.

I will concede that part to you. I had completely forgotten about about Genosect and the second Mewtwo. However I don't believe they were Team Plazma in the beginning. Another thing is that they used some kind of dog to kill Silver's mom. If it was the pokemon world it would have been a Houndoom or something.

I will concede the point where we don't know enough about the Nanites. Though I still think that the breading line will still be in effect. I have to admit though in order for the breading point to be proven right it would take over a dozen more fucks to give if that is true. And even then it would have to be with completely different sets of pokemon. The closest thing I expect to get out of the point is that its possible and often used.

I will like to mention that whenever pokemon do activate the nanites in the main story they are shown to respond. I wouldn't be surprised when this isn't aprarent anymore just because whenever this does happen a time jump is bound to happen in the future. This simply because it takes too long to show all the interactions between the mates.

I will give you that, the pool of possible chances has been too small still. Larger samples need to be taken in order to ensure accuracy. I will agree with you about the nanite activation scenes. Depending on how much it would be used it could become tedious later in the story. Ultimately we'll just have to watch for known triggers and see if the nanites react to them. Shes going to run into giratina some time soon or we'll see how things go.

I must say this was enjoyable. It's nice to be able to have a little debate like this without it deteriorating into a shouting match. Sadly that happens too often now a day.

I enjoyed this debate as well. Its nice to know that in some corners of the net that you can still have different points and still talk about them without insulting anyone.
