The first in a 10-part series of my fursona wearing costumes from movies that YOU, my watchers, helped me pick. =)
This is, of course, from The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and it was my first choice because I'm a diehard fan of LOTR. This dress was worn by Arwen in the scene where she is trying to convince her father to reforge the shards of Narsil for Aragorn. It has always been my favorite dress from the movie, and I knew immediately that I wanted to draw Luthien wearing it for this project.
I have been in awe of the beauty of this film, particularly the elves and Rivendell, since the first time I saw it, and I really wanted to do something special with this picture to help capture that beauty. I can't say I'll go all out like this for the others, but we'll see.
The drawing is really the only thing I can claim as mine - the rest is nifty photoshop work (and trust me, my skills with Photoshop are limited!) The background came from the net, the floor is a texture, and the dress, of course, was designed by someone else. But enjoy it anyway. =)
