The second of three adopts from
hax-the-monster that I've yet to upload to FA. Coincidentally, she's also the one who sold me on the idea of adopts.
Hailing from a small tourist-trap of a village in Belize, Maria never had any grand plans for her life - for the first two decades, it was a blur of school, work, and faint stirrings of a social life, interspersed with mixed languages and confused faiths, all tied together by a constant desire for more. Come adulthood, she wasted no time shipping up to LA, where she fell into a steady rhythm of struggling to make ends meet. It wasn't long, though, before her exotic looks and accent garnered more positive attention, and she found modeling for an alternative fashion label to be a more lucrative venture than the steady stream of day jobs not to last. Though she's adjusted to the pace of first-world life, she hasn't let it consume her either - being truly on her own after everything that came before, things aren't always comfortable, or fun, or perfect, but she's finally found her own sense of happiness. And in the end, isn't that what matters?
This isn't the first or last adopt that Hax has done - I definitely recommend checking out her gallery if they're your thing.
