These are a few study drawings/ sketches I've done for  abakan commission of the Kurt Tank's famous Butcher Bird! In particular I wanted to get some three quarter view drawings done so I could become familiar with how the perspective and various angles would work on this plane.

One thing ran into trouble with while doing  dustykat commission http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2554532/ was that I had done numerous sketches and had studied the photos of both the locale and his bike and gear, but I had not done any finished sketches of the complete rider and bike package from that exact angle. Therefore when I started on the finally piece I had to do more fudging and correcting of the final image than I would have preferred! With that experience still fresh in my memories I wanted to avoid that with this piece. In particular I wanted a better understanding of how the lower wing panels and landing gear interacted with each other.
