Thanks much to Ursula for the donation of little Claybord rectangles that made this possible!

Unfortunately, my usual medium, gouache, washes right off these things. Oil was a challenge and several layers were required to get it to stick. But wiser folk than I have said that a challenge is an opportunity in disguise... and I like how this one turned out.
