Another day, another OC.
This time it's a character for my friend  Sephircards story - Glyderia, or Glyderius.
Arcadius accidentally forged the perfect gem when trying to create his weapon. The gem mineral Aetenadrite. A miraculous gem that by will of its master took the shape of a longsword, and thus Glyderius, the crystallized awakening.
The gem was extremely powerful and so was the sword, but it got rarely drawn, since it was too strong.
The gem later developed into a living being, taking the shape of a young crystaline female being.
After showing herself for the first time she developed a character and intelligent thinking, becoming his most loyal companion.
She is friendly and a bit sassy, very happy to be by her masters side and terribly addicted to his power, as she also has a strong need to be used by him and empowered with energy. She is completely loyal towards him, wanting only his best. They have a emotional connection.
She is not jealous towards Aquaria, who is Arcadius mate, however she hates it seeing him use other weaponry. The only weapon tolerated by her is Arcadius bow.

I played around a lot with effects, shading, stronger shading, glow, much more glow, and layers, a fuckton of layers and I loved it. I don't necessarily like picking the places to shade because I have no fucking clue where shadows go, but I have alot of fun deepening the shadows and working on effects and details.

I also wonder if this quality is sufficient to do commissions I wonder... although I doubt that, propably not good enough yet to charge money vwv
