True however, it can also be pretty interesting if the person is somewhat hesitant of the idea of taking care of them. I mean if it's something like a dragon then that is a lot of responsibility and not only that but taking care of a creature you have no way of knowing what works. It can be very scary indeed!

I love to believe that when someone find such baby dragon orphan and cuddles it with love - then the transformation starts to happen...
Basically the hatchling itself decides that this person, because of being so pleasant and caring, would be his good parent...

So it is exactly like I also love to think...
Human finds the hatchling and hugs it... if the dragon also starts to love human it creates the magical bond that starts to transform human, to become physically his parent... it grants a body and some important dragon instincts that allow to properly take care about the baby dragon...
...I would love to find such hatchling to take care about him and became one of his species!
