I'm totally one day going to get the courage up to do an animatic of Iona and Ulfric singing Hugh Jackman's and Zac Effron's parts respectively from The Other Side from The Greatest Showman because for the most part it totally fucking fits them.
Anyway, this happens early in the story. There's a Khajiit caravan outside the Windhelm gates, celebration going on and all that. How'd Ulfric get suckered into going to said celebration, well, that's a story for another time. Maybe he lost a bet to Galmar again, maybe it's something else. Either way, Iona is his "ambassador" of sorts, and she delights in his discomfort until she grows a little sympathy and eases him into his surroundings a bit more.
