thats my brother in laws truck but I will say, damn comfortable ride, spacious, awesome fuel economy and milage, good amount of bed space in the back *both regular and the extended* and rides like a champ.
fastest ive been on her was when I was catchin up with my dad and got up to *not limited to engine or power wise* 185 but got images of grease stains in my head and decided to gently start tapin the brakes.
my dad has the fastest bike in the midwest: Triumph Rocket III turbo charged

185?! Good grief! I get images of turning into a pile of hamburger at anything above 100. But then again, I'm a new rider, < 6 months, and really don't have the urge to shoot for crazy top speeds. I'm much more content carving up the twisties. I'm still slow, but I'm slowly getting better, smoother, more controlled. I've still got a very long way to go to be near the level I'm at in my Miata when it comes to cornering.
Ah yes! Deals Gap. I've been going there with a Miata group since 2001. I can drive that road! Out there on four wheels I'm fast. Not the fastest, but I haven't had a single person catch up to me and want to pass in the past few years going up there.
I do want to take the bike up there, but I know I'll be a bit frustrated with how slow I'll be going on that road. It's intense, and I want to survive it. I'll settle for slow if it means the bike and I come home in one piece.
