Meet Aelez. So a while back, I had a series of public polls to "create a character" for a sequence. Based on viewer suggestions, the character was selected to be a reckless, but powerful and headstrong sorceress. I'm happy to reveal her final design here.

In lieu of a story this update, seemed like a good time to provide some background lore.

Aelez is a member of a trinity of witches known as Malgven's daughters, the magic-wielding powerhouses that carry out the Queen of Fjallkonan's will. The number 3 is significant in Celtic mythology, and as such, these witches are grouped in trinities, the Seer, the Speaker, and the Hunter. The Seer is the strategist of the group, peering through the veils of time to plumb the possible outcomes of fate and planning the trinity's actions. The Speaker is the most social of a trinity, serving as its face and diplomat. The Speaker is well versed in Name Magic. The final member is the Hunter, a powerful magic-user channeling raw, elemental magic and tasked with being the most combat-ready of a trinity. Aelez, the last survivor of her witch's trinity, is a Hunter.
