I use references often, for this drawing I had a tiger photo of course to reference from it, tho Esha doesn't have normal tiger stripes
so it was a bit of challenge ^^
Some people are against using references, but if you want to get things right, references are necessary at some point

And that's good to hear. It also shows because of how accurate her facial structure is. I think her marks turned out very nicely!
I would agree with that. Use the reference to get the image started, then put it away. That's what my teachers would always say. :)
