After coming across yet another planet those civilisations were completely destroyed John the cosmic sized spider had a capybara enlarged to cosmic sizes given to him by his wife Portia to cheer him up. It worked.
Soon after she became the backup mum to all the mum less being they would come across on new discovered worlds.
Unlike most other cosmically sized beings the great Capymama does not have any higher intelligence then it did pre growth. But it is much much much broader.

She simply mums like a champion. The 3 sapient stars orbiting her deal with all the stuff that needs cleverness, they were also her children back when they were nebulas.
