Alright, after sitting through Land of the Lustrous in two days (12 episodes) and the remaining manga the following day (aprox 40 chapters) I got hooked up AS FUCK.
THIS IS SO PRETTY! The style is amazing! I didn't realize until god knows when that it was CGI that I was watching! AND IT'S SO GORGEOUS!
And I just had to do an OC for the series.

Meet Amber. An upbeat girl with a free rolling character. Unlike hte other gems she was not born from the ground but from a tree on the cliff, as she is not made from mineral but resin, which turned into Amber.
She is easily the most fragile of the gems, but also the lightest. Her idols for a long time were Borts and Padraradscha, but since she was so fragile, and getting additional resin to fix her was nearly impossible, she was not permitted to fight.
But she didn't give up. She thought long and hard to find a solution, which eventually came.
She made her weakness her strength. She trained her abilities to be so light that she could easily use air pressure from approaching attacks to just evade with it, while using a nodachi styled sword for graceful slashing attacks. She usually charges and throws her sword at the enemy, jumping after it, dodging any attacks with her lightness to grab the sword when she'd be near the enemy and just finish it with a single blow. Still not up to par with the other fighters, but she could handle her own and was very happy about it. Her lightness also allowed her to walk on water, so she made it her task to patrol the waters around the island at a max of 100 meters from the coast, but usually closer.

I'm so happy how this turned out, watching coloring tutorials was pretty fun and fucking useful. Those eyes and that hair look fucking gorgeous <3 The clothing isn't shaded on purpose, I want the focus to stay on the hair x3
