I just couldn't help myself, avali are fun to draw, being lovers of the cold. So why not put opposite element space raptors together. Avikan are another starbound modded race and are lovers of heat and sand as they live on desert and Savannah planets.

Avali are from their own kind of desert, so it wouldn't be entirely different. Just warm.

More than just warm in truth, as their home planet temperature ranges -50ºC to -40ºC or -58ºF to -40ºF. So them being on a Savannah or desert would be extremely uncomfortable for them, as it would also vise versa for an avikan.

I know this all too well, however, I was more meaning in the environment factor, "just warm" had been hyperbolic in a manner. While the rest of that is helpful to other people, I've known this for years, and much more. It has after all been around a decade since I started following these buggers. However, what I meant had been the fact that they live in a desert on their home moon; Low precipitation with high heat. They would be much more at home in a sandy hot desert than a place like a temperate forest. Temperatures aside, they are desert creatures after all.

Ah okay. I thought you meant on their own home, but still it would still be uncomfortable even if slightly as they didn't technically evolve on a desert moon, but I can see what you mean. Though I did learn something, I didn't know they had a heated desert moon they colonized, guessing they use it for material gain as well to expand a bit.

Nonono, Avalon is a desert in the sense of precipitation, it orbits a gas giant. Thus desert moon. Deserts can be any temperature for that regard, Antarctica is a desert as an example (one that can get to tolerable temperatures for Avali, as an example.)

Depends, if they are similar in genes that will alllow them to breed anyways. But I guess it would create one who would like both, just it wouldn't be a new species, it would be considered a hybrid or mutation.

Sadly the original creator of the avali species has retired and has not offically updated the species in a while. the current version was picked up and revived by a different person who is just simply doing bug fixes at this point. ;v;

Its could be picked up by the Eithian Race Developer.

Don't think he would being he already has to work on Eithian races as it is.
Plus, recently the avali mod actually died, so trying to run the game with the avali mod now crashes/prevents your game from starting unless you uninstall it.. So, there goes the mod. Maybe someone else will pick it up again, but I dunno.

Avali Triage is working fine for me.
