This was taken at a scenic overlook / souvenir stand south of Winslow, Arkansas. That's a ruby-throated hummingbird at the feeder, with the Boston River valley in the background.

That's the Ozarks?
I just got Where The Red Fern Grows 2 days ago and finished it yesterday....I'll never read a book I liked more.

Yep. A friend of mine showed me around the Ozarks by several scenic (i.e., non-interstate) highways. Lots of climbing and descending with sharp curves and twists. Great trip!
