Kat and TC had quite a few encounters, and TC swore he knew Kat from somewhere, but couldn't put his finger on how, until one day, Kat was knocked into a river and all the dye in his hair/fur was washed out when TC saw Kat in this state, he realized Kat was his older brother, who for years he thought was dead, at first he didn't know how to react, but then all of a sudden he embraced him, tears in his eyes he held Kat tight, Kat was surprised at first, but soon returned the embrace, he had recently found out he had two siblings, and to not only find one of them, but find it was someone he genuinely liked like a brother filled him with much joy. For a moment when they were hugging, Kat could've sworn he saw a little halo and wings flash over TC for a moment, but just shrugged it off, eventually, the two broke the hug, and vowed to find their older sister together, hoping the reunion with her would feel just as good.
