A little picture I've been meaning to upload for almost a year now!
Taken at last years' Bronycon, this was when I finally got to meet the wonderful Kelly Sheridan, the voice artist who provides the voice for my favourite character in MLP, Starlight Glimmer.
Two weeks after this picture was taken, I was in contact with Kelly as she recorded the voice of Red Sunset for the RedSilver animation. So the picture will forever remind me not only of meeting her, but also the day I got to work with her.
No, I'm not super tall. I'm about 6'0" - or at least, I was. And the large Starlight plush Kelly's holding there is mine - I just couldn't resist asking her to hold onto it for the picture!

Meeting Kelly at Bronycon was one of those moments I'll never forget - and thanks to this picture, I'll always be able to remember that moment.
Working with her was really special. Hearing her voice in an animation is one thing: but listening in as she records a part is a whole different experience! I'm glad there wasn't a camera on me while she was recording the part of Red for the animation - I had to pick my jaw up a couple of times!

When I was 18, 6'0" was a fair few inches above average. Nowadays, I actually feel like I'm below average height - although I might have lost an inch or two of height with age. I'll have to check that out someday...
I've never been keen on having my photograph taken, though. But as a reminder of the day I got to meet Kelly, it was definitely worth it!
