For some reason I am unable to upload the original size despite the other pages were uploaded with no problem.
The “Super Mario Adventures” comic series that was first published back during the 90s was such a wonderful piece of nostalgic; a great blend of western art with loads of anime tropes blended together.
After the Nintendo Treehouse demonstration of “Super Mario Odyssey”, I was inspired to make a comic base of the demo; get ready for the Mario vs Hariet comic adaption!!
==========================
This page took me a long time to complete, mainly due to the fact that about 90% of this page is purely new. I felt that the original idea wasn't interesting enough; it felt too bland and doesn't contain enough appeal factor, so I redrew a extra page and thought of how cool it might be to parody "Street Fighter" (I'm not 100% certain if this is 4 or 5 in the series).
The real challenge is the middle work of my sweat, blood, and tears. THAT took me very long to make and using the proper tools. I'm pretty satisfied in the end.
Anyways, yeah, this is finally done...and it only took me a month. Sigh... This is pretty much a promotion art of what's to come. I guarantee you the next following pages will be the official fight scenes.
