Species: Seviper
Type: Fang Snake Pokemon
Physical Description: Aerith is about normal size for a Seviper (neither large nor small). Like most of his species, he has glistening dark-blue scales that are only visible on close inspection. From far away, he appears almost shiny, as if he’s been bathing all day or was made of rubber. His tail, fangs, and tongue are all a rich, ruby red colour, an ideal trait amongst Sevipers.
History: Aerith grew up in Seviper territory under his mother, the leader of the Seviper militia. From a young age, he was taught to fight Zangoose from the best the militia had to offer. When he became older, however, he left the militia in hopes of eventually forming his own rescue team. He encountered some difficulty with this, instead deciding to join a rescue-team academy run by the rather eccentric Xatu. He has currently spent around three years there.
Special Info: Most pokemon in the world are omnivores and herbivores (considering they all can eat apples and berries). In fact, most species that are traditionally carnivores will become omnivores if they are introduced to plants as food at an early age. Aerith, when he was raised, was given the choice what he wanted, and he decided to become a carnivore for the rare special abilities he would eventually gain. As such, Aerith cannot eat fruit or plants that could potentially heal him or give him special abilities. As a carnivore though, he eventually learned the move “swallow-whole” which is an attack so rare that logically only pokemon from the past could have learned.

Personality: Aerith can be fairly sarcastic and guarded; but deep down, he is all about having a good time and tries his best to make his companions happy. To those who understand this, he is a loyal friend who can lighten the mood in any situation. To others, he might appear sardonic or perhaps even cynical.
Relationships: Despite the deep-seeded hatred that Zangoose and Sevipers have for each other, Aerith befriended a Zangoose named Alex after being forced to work with her several times. After several events involving their homelands, they eventually fell in love. This relationship is a secret, due to the shame it would bring, not to mention the provocation of Zangoose and Seviper extremists to seek them out.
