My Coming Out Comic
A comic I did to come out and explain Genderqueer/ NonBinary stuff. I thought it would be easier than explaining things over and over, since I live in the rural south, and not a lot of folks around here are very familiar with Genderqueer stuff!
I really think it came out well, though, and it makes me want to do more comics for sure!

For me, personally, it means that while I'm usually most comfortable with they/them pronouns, that I'm also fine with being called a she or a he. I usually present on the Femme side of things, and I don't necessarily"Pass" as Nonbinary, (though there's not really a "passing" for that, especially in the rural South).
I also do drag, so especially when I'm doing that, I'm comfortable with he pronouns as well.
So I will go with, for me personally, and it seems to be the general consensus, that my gender fluctuates a bit, and isn't always easy to explain. And since I already identified as Queer before coming out, I guess I just settled comfortably into the Genderqueer identity after coming out, though I do also see myself as being "Nonbinary" too!
