In ancient Japanese folklore, wolves were seen as the guardians and protectors of Japan's many mountains; so much so that many mountain villages were named after the wolf. Here we see the ancient wolf goddess Moro-no-Kimi resting after eating a very heavy meal; adding more fat to her immense, blobbly bulk. Not that she minds, of course. After all, she's already a massive mountain of wolf goddess.
