This is based on the song 'With a little help from my friends' by The Beatles :) It's one of my favourite songs by them and when I was listening to it the other day it made me think of Cally :) For a few reasons, the main one being that she is a wonderful friend who is always there for me, so of course the song would make me think of her ^^
Seconded by the fact that she is a big Beatles fan :D Add onto that, that 'lend me your ears' gave me a funny image in my head - as you can see. XD (had to do it literally..)
Oh and finally, because this bit of the song also makes me think of how Cally suggested we do karaoke together sometime, because she is a great singer by all accounts, and I am um, probably not XD So.. I can pretty much imagine this situation. XD
I think for all the above reasons, this picture made me happy to create, and still gives me a warm fuzzy feeling when I look at it. Because I feel lucky to have a friend like Cally ^^

Oh my god. Okay. I read this and I am now literally SMILING ALL OVER (i'm drawing that. ha.), it's so beautiful and sweet. YOU WROTE THE NICEST THINGS.
And the picture itself is just classic. I kept thinking about it in work today and how sweet and funny you were to make it for me, aw. EARS <3 I love the fact that you took that part literally. Every time I hear that song now I'll think of this picture and YOU, fact.

Also umm, the reason I drew you in trousers, is cos I was practising the sitting-down poses and it just seemed easier, I think I would usually draw you in a skirt cos I know you prefer them.. But yeah, I managed to make the top you-ish at least. XD And I've been wearing this long sleeved black thing all weekend, it's waarm. :3

I've been wearing trousers a lot lately 'cause of the weird weather and feel just as comfortable i those as a skirt :D So DON'T WORRY SILLY <3
